Jaipur | The Jaipur Mahanagar unit of the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh organized its monthly meeting. The meeting was successfully concluded on Sunday at Sirsi Road, Panchyawala, under the chairmanship of Mahanagar President Prahlad Chaudhary. Several important issues related to farmers were discussed in it.

Main Agendas of the Meeting

The main focus of this monthly meeting was on the biggest challenges of the current times. Special emphasis was placed on raising awareness about environmental protection among farmers.

The office-bearers emphasized how agricultural practices can be made environmentally friendly.

Pledge for Environmental Protection

All members present at the meeting took a pledge to save the environment. A major part of the discussion focused on the harm caused by plastic.

Farmers were explained that the use of plastic not only reduces soil fertility but is also fatal for animals.

In his address, Mahanagar President Prahlad Chaudhary said,

"We have to leave a clean and healthy environment for our future generations. Organic farming and cow conservation are important steps in this direction."

He appealed to everyone to reduce the use of plastic and adopt alternative solutions.

Emphasis on Organic Farming and Cow Promotion

A detailed discussion was held in the meeting to promote organic farming. The side effects of chemical fertilizers were highlighted.

Farmers were told about the benefits of organic farming, which include improved soil health and better quality of produce.

Active Participation of Farmers

Many prominent office-bearers of the Bharatiya Kisan Sangh were present at this important meeting. These included Mahanagar Treasurer Murlidhar, Mansarovar Bhag Minister Ashok Chaudhary, and Prithviraj Nagar Minister Bhawani Singh Mundia.

Additionally, many workers like Surendra Nemiwal, Ishwar Singh Bagoli, Ramesh Chand Saini, Gautam Singh Rathore, and Bhagirath Singh were also present.

Other attendees included Pratap Singh, Shripal Singh Khirod, Gajendra Singh, Narpat Singh, Dinesh Mathur, Lalit Bhagat, Shankar Chaudhary, Indraraj Chaudhary, and Hanuman Sahay Yadav, who actively participated in the discussion.

The purpose of this meeting was not just to discuss but to make farmers aware at the grassroots level. The Sangh has decided to continue such awareness campaigns in the future to develop a sustainable agricultural model.
