Bikaner celebrated the 77th Van Mahotsav at Marudhara Biological Park, planting over 1000 saplings during the event.
The chief guest of the program, IG Om Prakash, described public participation as essential for environmental protection. He also called for the conservation of the planted saplings.
IGNP Commissioner Navneet Kumar, District Collector Nishant Jain, and CCF Jaipur R.K. Khairwa were among the many officials present on the occasion.
CCF Khairwa stated that this plantation drive will help develop a green environment in the Marudhara Biological Park. He added that the park will become even more significant as a natural habitat for wildlife.
On this occasion, students conveyed the message of environmental conservation through plays and folk dances.
Student Seema Kumari emotionally moved everyone with her effective portrayal of the sacrifice of Amrita Devi and 363 others. Officials and employees of the Forest Department, officials from various other departments, and a large number of nature lovers were present at the event.
