Bikaner | Panic erupted at the VIP block of the city's Circuit House on Saturday after a sudden fire broke out. According to preliminary information, the cause of the fire is said to be a short circuit, after which smoke quickly spread throughout the premises.

Chaos in the VIP Block

Following the fire incident in the VIP block of the Circuit House, an atmosphere of chaos prevailed among the officials, employees, and security personnel present there. In no time, the entire gallery was filled with smoke, which worsened the situation.

Fire Near IAS Trainee's Room

According to information, the fire started right next to the room of an IAS trainee. This made the situation concerning for a while. However, the situation was brought under control before any mishap could occur.

Fire Controlled in Time

The staff and security personnel present at the scene showed their presence of mind without delay. They immediately started efforts to extinguish the fire and soon brought it under control. Due to their promptness, a major accident was averted.

BJP Leader and Others Helped

At the time of the incident, BJP leader Punit Dhal, Home Guard Kamal Singh, Omprakash, and other employees were present on the spot. All of them played a significant role in extinguishing the fire and securing the premises. Their alertness prevented the fire from spreading.

Administration Begins Investigation

Upon receiving information about the incident, officials from the concerned department reached the spot and took stock of the situation. The smoke that had filled the gallery area was later cleared. The relieving fact is that there were no casualties in this incident.

The administration has started an investigation to find out the exact cause of the fire. Currently, a short circuit is considered the preliminary cause. To prevent the recurrence of such incidents in the future, the electrical system of the Circuit House premises is also being inspected.
