The incident took place in Ward 50, where Meghwal had gone to attend the inauguration program of the election office of Congress candidate Navratan Daga.

Called on Pretext of Welcome, Then Attacked

According to the information provided by Madan Gopal Meghwal, Congress worker Mohit Arora and his three associates were present at the event venue.

He stated that these individuals called him out of the office on the pretext of garlanding and welcoming him.

First Offered Sweets, Then Questioned

Meghwal said that after being taken outside, he was first offered sweets. Immediately after, Mohit Arora questioned him about why he was not given the party ticket for Ward 50.

Meghwal replied that many people ask for a ticket from the party, but the ticket can only be given to one person.

He mentioned that Mohit Arora had been lingering around him for the past two days, continuously demanding the Congress ticket for Ward 50.
