The dispute over ticket distribution in Bikaner Congress has deepened. A Congress worker assaulted former IPS and District President Madan Gopal Meghwal for not getting a ticket from Ward 50.

Meghwal said that after being taken outside, he was first offered sweets. Immediately after, Mohit Arora questioned him about why he was not given the party ticket for Ward 50.

He mentioned that Mohit Arora had been lingering around him for the past two days, continuously demanding the Congress ticket for Ward 50.
According to Meghwal, Mohit had also come to the party office on Tuesday, where he had welcomed him with a scarf. On Wednesday too, he was present at the inauguration of the election office with his associates and was chanting slogans in support of Congress.
After this incident, Madan Gopal Meghwal reacted sharply. He alleged that the assailants are workers associated with the Congress party.
He said that such violent behavior out of anger for not getting a ticket is not at all appropriate for democratic politics.
In a sarcastic tone, Meghwal said, "With this incident, the party has proved that it does not give tickets to goons."
