In this order, officers have been instructed to achieve 100% of the prescribed monthly targets related to tours, inspections, and night stays. The department has found that many officers are being negligent in meeting these targets.
Negligence in Target Fulfillment
The order issued by the department clearly states that the targets set from time to time by the Administrative Reforms and Coordination Department and the Education Department were reviewed.
In the review, it was found that most officers did not show the expected progress in fulfilling these targets, which has been taken seriously.
According to the order, officers who have been assigned targets for inspections, tours, and night stays will now have to upload their reports themselves on the Rajasthan Sampark Portal.
This step has been taken to ensure transparency and accountability.
Instructions to Complete Technical Process
Officers who have not yet had their ID and district-level mapping done at the office of the Department of Information Technology and Communication have been directed to complete this process immediately.
Without this, they will not be able to upload their reports on the portal.
The department has also clarified that every officer will have to fill in the complete information of inspections, tours, and night stays in the prescribed format and upload it on the Rajasthan Sampark Portal.
Inspections and night stays will be conducted in the offices and institutions within the jurisdiction of the concerned officer.
The order also states that tours should be prioritized on Saturdays to minimize the impact on office work.
Monitoring and Review System
Divisional Joint Directors have been given the responsibility of regularly monitoring the progress of inspections and night stays in their subordinate offices.
They have also been instructed to hold monthly review meetings in this regard.
All divisional offices will be required to send the consolidated progress report to the directorate's official e-mail ID in the first week of every month.
Appointment of Nodal Officer
The Additional Director, Secondary Education, Rajasthan, Bikaner, has been nominated as the nodal officer for the departmental review of tours, inspections, and night stays.
He will oversee this entire process and ensure that the instructions are followed.
Action on Non-compliance

The order warns that if any non-compliance or negligence is found, the responsibility of the concerned officer will be fixed, and the officer himself will be solely responsible for it.
