Under a special campaign run by the Police Headquarters, an important district-level meeting was organized on Friday at the Police Station Kotwali premises. The main objective of this meeting was to establish better coordination between the police and the general public and to curb rising crimes.
The meeting was jointly chaired by the Inspector General of Police, Bikaner Range, Omprakash (IPS), and the District Superintendent of Police, Mridul Kachhawa (IPS).
On this occasion, Additional Superintendent of Police (City) Chakravarti Singh Rathore and Circle Officer (City) Anuj Dal were also present. A large number of circle-level CLG members, Youth CLG, Suraksha Sakhi, Police Mitra, dignitaries, and traders attended the meeting.
During the meeting, several important topics were discussed in detail. These included the prevention of cybercrime, streamlining the city's traffic system, and effectively controlling the growing prevalence of drug abuse in society.
Inspector General of Police Omprakash made an important appeal to the citizens. He said that people should share secret information about those selling and consuming narcotic substances with the police.
He also emphasized that criminals should not be glorified in society. He encouraged people to fearlessly provide information to the police.
District Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa stated that a special campaign will be launched in the coming days to make Bikaner's traffic system smoother. He described the cooperation of the general public as essential for the success of this campaign.
The citizens present at the meeting highly praised 'Operation Neelkanth' being run by the police. They also demanded the continuation of this campaign to prevent the growing drug problem.
During this time, other police officers including Station House Officers of the city circle Savita Dal (Kotwali), Vishwajeet Singh (Muktaprasad Nagar), Vikram Tiwari (Kotgate), and Surjit Kumar (Nayashahar) were also present.
