Bikaner's Rajput Vichar Manch met to discuss political representation for the upcoming corporation elections and demanded tickets from political parties.
The main agenda of the meeting was to ensure community unity and political representation in the upcoming corporation elections. Speakers emphasized that the community should get its due rights.
In the meeting, it was unanimously decided that a strong demand would be made to both major parties, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and the Congress, to give tickets to qualified Rajput candidates in general seats.
The speakers clarified that the Rajput community is not bound to any single political party. The community will support the party that gives it respect and adequate representation.
It was also discussed in the meeting that if political parties ignore the community's expectations, strong political decisions will be taken democratically. Under this, the option of giving collective support to an independent candidate has also been kept open.
Additionally, community members also expressed their displeasure over an issue related to the UGC in the meeting. On this occasion, many members of the Rajput Vichar Manch, including Yashwant Singh, Rajpal Singh, Swaroop Singh, Narendra Singh, Bhairu Singh, and Shyam Singh, were present.
