Bikaner | A significant step has been taken towards expanding the medical facilities in Bikaner. Approval has been granted for 27 Senior Resident posts for the Anatomy and other departments of Sardar Patel Medical College. This decision is the result of continuous efforts by MLA Jethanand Vyas.

Health Services to be Strengthened

An official letter issued by the Medical Education Department of the Rajasthan Government has confirmed this approval. Referring to MLA Vyas's letter dated May 10, 2026, the department stated that the approval for these 27 posts was issued on January 27, 2026.

In this regard, the department has informed the MLA and directed the concerned officials to take necessary action. These appointments will fill the shortage of specialist doctors in the college.
