With the efforts of MLA Jethanand Vyas, 27 new posts have been approved at Sardar Patel Medical College, strengthening health services.
An official letter issued by the Medical Education Department of the Rajasthan Government has confirmed this approval. Referring to MLA Vyas's letter dated May 10, 2026, the department stated that the approval for these 27 posts was issued on January 27, 2026.
In this regard, the department has informed the MLA and directed the concerned officials to take necessary action. These appointments will fill the shortage of specialist doctors in the college.
MLA Jethanand Vyas expressed his happiness over this significant achievement. He said that filling these posts will provide patients with better and faster diagnosis and treatment facilities.
MLA Vyas said, "Filling these posts will increase the availability of specialist doctors in Anatomy and other departments, provide relief to patients in diagnosis and treatment, and further improve the quality of health services in the medical college."
