Village Development Officers in Bikaner held a meeting, warning of a protest. They expressed anger over non-compliance with court orders in transfer cases and warned of a work boycott.
The meeting was held at Kids Connect School under the chairmanship of District President Ramniwas Bhadu. Members of the association discussed several important issues in depth.
During the meeting, key issues such as the promotion of the cadre, pending ACRs (Annual Confidential Reports), and the boycott of the JJM (Jal Jeevan Mission) scheme were discussed.
Additionally, the construction of the provincial building and other pending demands were also raised. The members showed unity on all these demands.
The association expressed deep resentment and anger, particularly over the non-compliance with stay orders issued by the court in transfer cases.
District President Ramniwas Bhadu and State Representative Manoj Suthar stated that a memorandum was also given to the CEO on July 31 in this regard, but no action has been taken on it yet.
The association warned in strong terms that if the court orders are not respected and complied with, contempt proceedings will be initiated.
Along with this, a work boycott has also been announced by submitting memorandums to development officers at the Panchayat Samiti level. The association also made it clear that if their demands are not met, the Zila Parishad Bikaner will be gheraoed (picketed).
