A day after being appointed 'National General Secretary' in the team of the new party National President Nitin Naveen on Monday, the BJP's central leadership appointed him the new 'State In-charge' of Punjab on Tuesday.
Following the directions of BJP National President Nitin Naveen, an official list of new in-charges for three states has been released by National Office In-charge and Rajya Sabha MP Tarun Chug.
Under this new list, the names of new state in-charges for Uttar Pradesh, Punjab, and Gujarat have been announced, which will be effective immediately.
The official order has clarified that all these appointments will be effective immediately.
The recent period has been quite eventful for Dr. Satish Poonia, who has a strong identity as a Jat face in Rajasthan politics.
Just a few days ago, the BJP sent him to the upper house of Parliament by nominating him to the Rajya Sabha from Rajasthan. Now, these dual responsibilities in the central organization have further enhanced his political stature.
Announcements for the state in-charges of the remaining states will also be made in due course, and until then, the current in-charge system will continue in the respective states.
