Bundi | On the occasion of the 785th foundation day of the historic city of Bundi in Rajasthan, an important seminar on tourism development was organized. In this event, organized by Shri Rangnath Seva Samiti, discussions were held on the action plan for the city's rejuvenation and taking tourism to new heights.

Immense Potential for Tourism in Bundi

District Collector Harphool Singh Yadav participated as the chief guest in this seminar held at Ishwari Niwas. In his address, he said that nature has blessed Bundi with unique beauty and there is immense potential for tourism development here.

He stated that now there is only a need for its systematic maintenance and development, which will be completed soon. The administration is fully committed in this direction.

Development Works to Gain Momentum

The District Collector assured that in the coming time, all approved development works will be implemented on the ground under a solid action plan. He said that the cooperation of the residents of Bundi is extremely important for the conservation of the city's architecture.

The route from Dadhimati temple to Meerangate will be specially worked on to make it more convenient and attractive for tourists.

He also appealed to the general public to give their suggestions to make Bundi clean, beautiful, and attractive, and to play an active role in promoting tourism.

Emphasis on Heritage Conservation and Tourist Safety

Vanshvardhan Singh, a member of the former royal family present at the event, stressed the conservation of Bundi's historical and archaeologically significant heritage. He said it is our shared responsibility to preserve this precious legacy.

Meanwhile, District Superintendent of Police Avnish Kumar Sharma described tourist safety as paramount. He said that tourists coming from home and abroad should get a safe environment and complete information about tourist spots. This will make them stay longer in the city, which will also benefit the local economy. He assured all possible cooperation from the police administration.

Stepwells to be Developed, 'Bundi Mahotsav' to be Grand

On this occasion, Additional District Collector H.D. Singh made an important suggestion. He said that a solid mechanism should be prepared to develop Bundi's historic stepwells from a tourism perspective.

He also proposed that the upcoming 'Bundi Mahotsav' in November should be given a new and grand form this time. The aim is to significantly increase the participation of local people as well as domestic and foreign tourists.

Many other officials and social workers also expressed their views in the seminar. Everyone unanimously pledged to give Bundi a new identity on the global tourism map. This event could prove to be a milestone in setting a new direction for the city's development.
