BJP wants to implement Gujarat model in Rajasthan: Dotasra
Jaipur | Rajasthan Pradesh Congress Committee President Govind Singh Dotasra has made serious allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He said that the BJP is trying to implement the Gujarat model in Rajasthan as well, which means intimidating, threatening, and pressuring public representatives to join their party.

Allegation of Misuse of Government Machinery on BJP

Dotasra said that instead of seeking votes on the government's work in Rajasthan, the Bharatiya Janata Party is misusing the administration.

He alleged that candidates participating in the local body elections are being intimidated and threatened.

BJP rattled by fear of defeat?

Dotasra questioned what fear the BJP has that it has to resort to barricading and horse-trading of candidates.

He said, "It is clear that there is resentment among the general public against the BJP, and the Congress is registering a victory in the local body elections."

Rattled by this fear of defeat, the BJP is misusing government machinery, while the election for the chairman is on the 21st.

Claim of Direct Instructions from CMO

The Congress President claimed that direct instructions have been given from the Chief Minister's Office to all district officials and administrative officers.

These instructions allegedly state that:

  • Independent and other candidates with a high probability of winning the local body elections should be identified.
  • Pressure should be put on them to be brought into the BJP's fold.

Dotasra described this as a direct attack on democracy and democratic principles.

Congress will not let the conspiracy succeed

In the end, he emphasized that the Congress party will not let this undemocratic conspiracy of the BJP succeed in the state of Rajasthan.

This information was given by Congress General Secretary and Media Chairperson Swarnim Chaturvedi.
