However, for the convenience of passengers, the interchange facility has been kept operational at some major stations.

The metro department has appealed to passengers to check the latest status of the metro services before starting their journey.
Officials have also stated that commuters should use alternative routes if necessary. A decision to reopen these stations will be made only after a review of the situation.
