Dhruv Jurel revealed the secret of his 'Jai Jawan, Jai Kisan' tattoo after his Colombo century, dedicating it to his soldier father and farmer grandfather.

Jurel said, "My grandfather was a farmer and my father was a soldier. So they are my roots, where I come from, I don't want to forget that."
He added, "That celebration was for my father and grandfather. I dedicate this century to them." Jurel emphasized that nothing would have been possible without his family's support.
This is not the first time Jurel has remembered his family on the field. He did something similar during a Test match against the West Indies in Ahmedabad last October.
In that match, after completing his half-century, he celebrated with a salute and dedicated it to his father.
After completing his first Test century in the same innings, he dedicated it to the Indian Army. Jurel said, "What we do on the field and what they do on the battlefield cannot be compared."
After his century in Colombo, Jurel also shared his experience of batting with teammate Rishabh Pant.
Jurel said, "My batting approach becomes easier with Pant because when runs are being scored from one end, the bowler tries to make mistakes, which is where I score runs."
He said that ultimately, the team's victory is the most important thing, no matter who scores the runs.
Talking about the conditions, Jurel said that he is used to them. He said, "I was touring with India A, so I know about the situation. I was just trying to bat in partnerships."
