Bikaner | Bikaner's renowned poet and storyteller, Dr. Meghna Sharma, will be honored with another prestigious award for her literary contributions. It has been announced that she will be given the fifth National Munshi Premchand Sahitya Ratna Samman 2026 by the Abhaakam organization of Jaipur.

Honor for the poem 'Prarabdh Ki Deemak'

The organization's president, Ajit Saxena, informed that Dr. Meghna will receive this honor in the category of poetry writing.

According to General Secretary Dr. Arun Kumar Saxena, the selection committee decided to award Dr. Meghna for her outstanding poem 'Prarabdh Ki Deemak'.

Award Ceremony in Jaipur

The award ceremony will be held on August 9 at the auditorium of Krishi Vigyan Kendra, Durgapura, Jaipur.

In this ceremony, Dr. Sharma will be honored with a cash prize, a memento, a shawl, a dupatta, and a certificate.

Previously Received Many Awards

It is noteworthy that this is not the first time Dr. Meghna is being honored for her literary contributions.

She has previously been awarded at the state and national levels by literary institutions in Jodhpur, Chandigarh, New Delhi, Jaipur, Bikaner, Suratgarh, Ratangarh, and Faizabad.
