A free health check-up camp for horses was organized in Abu Parvat under the joint aegis of PETA India and the Animal Husbandry Department, benefiting 55 horses.
Abu Parvat | A free health check-up and general medical examination camp for horses was successfully organized at the First Class Veterinary Hospital, Abu Parvat, under the joint aegis of PETA (PETA) India and the Animal Husbandry Department, Mount Abu-Abu Road.
The main objective of this camp was to protect the health of horses, detect diseases in time, and encourage animal keepers towards scientific animal husbandry.
Horse owners from the region participated in this camp with great enthusiasm and got their horses' general health checked.
The team of expert veterinarians present at the camp conducted physical examinations of the horses and provided important health-related advice and necessary medical guidance.
Camp in-charge Dr. Sanjay Tawde and Nodal Officer Dr. Shailesh Prajapati informed that the camp received immense support from the horse owners of the area, which made the event successful.
He mentioned that the special cooperation and guidance from Mr. Mahesh Tyagi and Ms. Chumki from PETA India were crucial in making this camp a success, for which the department expressed its gratitude.
Equine specialist Dr. Avesh Khan from Sirohi stated that a total of 55 horses benefited from this camp.
The Animal Husbandry Department also assured that such public welfare and animal welfare-related camps will continue to be organized in the future. The aim is to provide modern and quality veterinary services to the animal keepers.
