HPCL will invest around Rs 400 crore on these retail outlets. This major infrastructure project is expected to generate hundreds of new employment opportunities for the local youth, providing a significant boost to the regional economy.
New Policy for Leasing Government Land
To expedite the project, the Rajasthan government is drafting a new policy to lease government land to HPCL. This policy aims to simplify the land acquisition process and ensure transparency.

CM Inaugurates Flagship Retail Outlet
Recently, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma kicked off this expansion drive by inaugurating HPCL's state-of-the-art flagship retail outlet at Mandapura in Pachpadra, located in the Balotra district.
This outlet reflects Rajasthani culture and local architecture. It offers modern amenities, including a spacious food plaza, clean premises, and comfortable resting facilities for long-distance travelers.
Demand for Preference in Government Procurement
During the review meeting, HPCL and HRRL officials requested preferential supplier status under the RTPP Act. They urged government departments to prioritize HPCL for fuel procurement across the state.
The state government responded positively, reiterating its commitment to fast-track all approvals and support the timely execution of the refinery-linked projects while issuing necessary directives to officials.
