Sirohi | Saints, gaushala operators, and cow devotees will unite to raise their voices before the government regarding the poor condition of gaushalas in the state.

Under the auspices of Rajasthan Go Seva Samiti, Go Adhikar Hunkar Mahasabha will be organized on October 9 at Sanganer Pinjrapol Gaushala in Jaipur.

Unity on Gaushala Issues

According to the committee, gaushala operators from across the state, along with saints and a large number of cow devotees, will participate.

The Mahasabha is being organized under the patronage of Mahant Dinesh Giri and the guidance of State President Govind Ram Shastri.

Chief Advisor Raghunath Singh Rajpurohit is also involved in the preparations for the event.

Grant and Rising Fodder Costs

Chief Patron Mahant Dinesh Giri stated that the attention of the government and administration has been drawn to the problems of gaushalas for a long time.

Due to the lack of resolution despite repeated correspondence and meetings, cow devotees from across the state have had to come on one platform.

State President Govind Ram Shastri said that the cost of fodder has increased significantly, making timely grants essential for gaushalas.

Key Demands from the Government

The committee has placed several important demands before the government, which will be discussed in the Mahasabha:

  • Ensuring timely payment of grants to gaushalas.
  • Permanent solution to problems occurring in ECS.
  • Continuing the grant system for the entire year, i.e., 12 months.
  • Canceling the proposed audit recovery by the AG.
  • Not burdening gaushalas with errors in tagging, online data, and mapping.

Land Allotment and Encroachment Issues

Chief Advisor Raghunath Singh Rajpurohit said the government must now take concrete decisions on the demands to provide relief to gaushala institutions.

Additionally, demands for the demarcation of grazing land, fencing, removal of encroachments, and land allotment to gaushalas will be raised prominently.

Shankaracharya Swami Sadanand Saraswati Maharaj of Dwarika Peeth and Malook Peethadheeshwar Rajendra Das Devacharya Maharaj will be present.

The committee warned that if the government does not solve the problems, it will be impossible to operate gaushalas.
