Jalore |The election fervor for the 40 wards of Jalore Municipal Council has intensified. On Saturday, the second day of the nomination process, 68 candidates filed a total of 88 nomination papers.

However, the major political parties, Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) and Congress, have not yet released any official list of their candidates.

Details of the Nomination Process

District Election Officer and District Collector Dr. Pradeep K. Gawande provided information, stating that the nomination process is ongoing.

He mentioned that nomination papers cannot be filed on Sunday due to a holiday. The process will resume on Monday.

Despite the non-release of lists by the two major parties, independent and other candidates are enthusiastically filing their papers.
