The morning of the first day of August has brought some relieving news. Oil Marketing Companies (OMCs) announced a price cut for 19 kg commercial gas cylinders on August 1, 2026, providing significant relief to LPG consumers.
This decision will directly benefit lakhs of restaurant owners, dhaba operators, confectioners, and small traders in Rajasthan, positively impacting their monthly budgets.
In the capital city of Jaipur, the price of the 19 kg commercial cylinder has been reduced by a substantial ₹192. After this reduction, the new price is now ₹2,765.50.
On the other hand, there has been no change in the rates of the 14.2 kg domestic cooking gas cylinders used by general households and families. Their prices remain completely stable across the state.
Due to variations in local taxes, VAT, and transportation costs, differences are observed in the rates of cooking gas and commercial cylinders in various districts of Rajasthan.
