Speaking on the local body elections, Rathore clarified that the state government is fully ready to conduct the polls. Now, the final decision has to be made by the Election Commission.
He accused Congress of trying to instigate the OBC community. He said that the OBC Commission's report is reaching the Election Commission, which has created fear within Congress.
Citing statistics, Rathore mentioned that BJP registered a historic win in 62 out of 78 recent bypolls. Therefore, Congress's claim of BJP fearing defeat is completely baseless.
On UCC, Rathore said that the opposition's only job left is to find faults. The BJP has already prepared the preliminary draft of the Uniform Civil Code.
He informed that the experiences of states where UCC has been implemented are being thoroughly studied. The final draft will be customized to suit the conditions of Rajasthan.
Rathore clarified that suggestions are being taken from various social groups for this draft. The opposition can also present its positive suggestions on this topic in the Assembly.
