Sirohi |After complaints from students of the Government Tribal Girls Ashram Hostel regarding poor food quality, Pindwara-Abu MLASamaram Garasiya conducted a surprise inspection of the hostel on Tuesday. The MLA interacted affectionately with the tribal girls and boosted their morale.
He also reviewed the standards for accommodation, food, and education set by the Tribal Area Development (TAD) department of the Rajasthan government.
Students Shared Their Problems
During the interaction, the girls openly shared their problems with the MLA. The students informed him that old and substandard rations were being provided at the hostel.
They also mentioned that the former warden's behavior towards them was not good. Responding with sensitivity, MLA Garasiya personally conducted a thorough inspection of the dining hall and storeroom.
He also closely examined the quality of the food items available there.
Strict Instructions to the New Warden
MLA Samaram Garasiya gave clear instructions to the newly appointed warden, Aarti Garasiya, who was present on the spot. He stated that the quality of food served to the girls must be improved immediately.
The MLA said, "There will be no compromise with the health and self-respect of the daughters of the tribal community."
He also gave necessary instructions to the warden to treat the girls with love and respect. The MLA assured that he would soon meet the Project Officer (TAD) for a permanent solution to this entire matter.
During the inspection, when the MLA asked the students, "Daughters, what else do you need?", the girls expressed their desire for sports equipment.
In response, District Vigilance Committee member Mahipal Charan and social worker Lokesh Khandelwal, who were present with the MLA, extended a helping hand through their organization "Pahal".
They assured to immediately provide sports equipment to the hostel girls on behalf of the social WhatsApp group "Pahal".
During this meeting, the MLA also motivated the girls to move forward in life and pursue higher education by taking advantage of the government's welfare schemes. RI Badaram, the area's Patwari, and the hostel staff were present on this occasion.
