Jaipur | The book of the tenth edition of the famous Narmada Tithi Panchang, produced in Kalandri of Sirohi district, was respectfully presented to the Governor of Rajasthan, Haribhau Kishanrao Bagde, at Raj Bhavan in Jaipur on Tuesday.
The creators of the Panchang, Dr. Chandresh Ghanshyam Joshi and Advocate Harsh Prajapat, met the Governor and presented him with a copy of the Panchang.
Governor Appreciates the Publication
During the meeting, Governor Bagde praised the publication work of the Panchang and extended his best wishes for it.
The Narmada Tithi Panchang provides detailed information on auspicious timings for various religious and social events according to Indian Vedic time calculation, including Tithi, Vaar, Nakshatra, Yoga, and Karan.
The Panchang also includes auspicious timings for various sacraments and religious functions such as marriage, housewarming, and mundan.
Inspired by the Spirit of Public Welfare
The creator of the Panchang, Dr. Chandresh Ghanshyam Joshi, stated that keeping the spirit of public welfare in mind, religious and spiritual content has also been included in this edition.
It contains information on various spiritual and religious hymns, including Shri Vishnu Sahasranama and Shri Sukta. He mentioned that its purpose is to provide the general public with Panchang-related information as well as daily recitation and religious material in one place.
