Rajya Sabha MP Neeraj Dangi has been declared the Rajya Sabha candidate by Congress for the second time.
Following this announcement, a wave of happiness spread among Congress leaders and workers of Sirohi district.
Hundreds of workers, led by District President Leelaram Garasiya, reached Jaipur and felicitated Dangi.
Dangi filed his nomination in the presence of former CM Ashok Gehlot and State President Govind Singh Dotasra.
Jaipur | Great enthusiasm was seen among the Congress leaders of Sirohi district after Rajya Sabha MP Neeraj Dangi was made the Rajya Sabha candidate by the Congress for the second time. Following this announcement, hundreds of Congress workers and public representatives from the district reached Jaipur and gave a grand welcome to Neeraj Dangi.
Wave of Happiness in Sirohi Congress
As soon as the news of Neeraj Dangi being declared the Rajya Sabha candidate again was received, a wave of joy spread among the Congress workers and the general public of Sirohi district. This is being considered the result of his work in the previous term and his commitment to the organization.
A large convoy, led by District Congress Committee President Leelaram Garasiya, left for Jaipur. The workers participated in Dangi's nomination process and expressed their support for him.
After the nomination, the workers from Sirohi reached Dangi's residence. District Congress Committee's General Secretary (Organization) Bhawani Singh Bhatana stated that Dangi was warmly felicitated there with a 'safa' (turban) and garlands. On this happy occasion, everyone shared sweets.
Dangi filed his nomination papers in the presence of former Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, State Congress President Govind Singh Dotasra, Leader of Opposition Tikaram Jully, and Chief Whip Rafiq Khan, along with several senior MLAs.
Expressing his happiness on the occasion, District Congress President Leelaram Garasiya said that Dangi has always raised important issues of Rajasthan in Parliament.
Dangi has previously raised various issues of the country, including Rajasthan, in the Rajya Sabha, and in the coming time, he will become the voice of Rajasthan in Parliament.
He said that Dangi's candidacy will not only strengthen the Congress party but also give a new identity to the Sirohi district.
General Secretary (Organization) Bhawani Singh Bhatana said that Dangi has always prioritized many important issues, from health reforms in Sirohi, Jalore, and Pali to the demand for air services in Abu Road and the Desuri ki Nal. He expressed confidence that Dangi will continue to raise the voice of the region strongly in the future.
Local leaders expressed their gratitude to the Congress high command for giving another opportunity to an organizational person like Dangi. During this, District Spokesperson Jitendra Maru, Social Media in-charge Dinesh Meghwal, and many other officials were present.
