Brian Lara Stadium | West Indies has registered a magnificent victory in the first match of the two-Test series against Pakistan. The Caribbean team defeated Pakistan by 90 runs to take a 1-0 lead in the series. This victory is only the second win for West Indies in their last 11 Test matches.
Meanwhile, with this defeat, Pakistan has registered a very shameful record. This is the 8th consecutive Test loss for the Babar Azam-led team on foreign soil. Chasing a target of 211 runs, the entire Pakistani team was bundled out for just 120 runs in the second innings.

First Innings Summary
Earlier in the match, West Indies had scored 311 runs in their first innings thanks to strong performances from Shai Hope (92 runs) and Kevem Hodge (84 runs). In response, despite a century from Shan Masood (109 runs), the Pakistan team could only manage 282 runs.
