PM Modi expressed confidence that this will give new momentum to tourism, trade, and employment in Marwar.

India's Willpower Overcame the Energy Crisis
Referring to global challenges, Prime Minister Modi said, "You are also seeing, there is chaos all over the world due to the war in West Asia. This war has given birth to the biggest energy crisis of the 21st century."
He explained how India's willpower and efforts triumphed over this crisis. He said, "India took the right decisions at every level, accurately assessed the crisis in time, and made an effective strategy."
Solution to the LPG Crisis
Giving the example of the LPG crisis, he explained that India imports 60% of its LPG requirement, of which 90% used to come from Gulf countries. This supply was almost cut off due to the war.
He explained, "As soon as the crisis began, we focused on the capacity of the refineries. Instead of the gas produced for industrial work, the refineries were asked to produce cooking gas (LPG)."
As a result, within seven days, LPG production increased from 35,000 metric tons to 54,000 metric tons. Additionally, more than 11 lakh households were connected with PNG connections.
He said that despite the price increase in the global market, domestic cylinders are being provided for less than ₹750 in India, and the Ujjwala cylinder is available for under ₹450.
Control Over Petrol-Diesel Prices
On the petrol-diesel crisis, he said that despite crude oil prices reaching from $70 to $120 per barrel, the situation in India remained under control.
He said, "Many rumors were spread, people were scared, incited, but those with wrong intentions could not succeed." The government reduced excise duty, and oil companies absorbed the losses to not burden the public too much.
The Power of Diplomacy Was Visible
PM Modi said, "During the crisis, the power of India's diplomacy was visible. During the war itself, India started importing fuel from more than 40 countries."
He clarified, "For us, the national interest and the interest of the nation's citizens are paramount. 'Nagrik Devo Bhava' (Citizen is God) is our mantra."
'What We Lay the Foundation For, We Also Inaugurate'
Speaking on the refinery project, he said, "We signed the MoU for it in 2017. But from 2018 to 2023, there was a Congress government in Rajasthan. Due to the non-cooperation of Congress, the work here came to a virtual standstill."
He said, "But as soon as the double-engine government came, its work progressed rapidly, and today we are also inaugurating it. And you know my working style, what we lay the foundation for, we also inaugurate."
Also Took Care of Farmers and Industries
The Prime Minister stated that the war had also created a major crisis for fertilizers, but the government continued to provide farmers with a urea bag worth ₹3000 for just ₹300.
Similarly, to protect MSMEs from rising costs, additional loans and a 100% government guarantee were provided under the Emergency Credit Line Guarantee Scheme.
'Citizen is God' is Our Mantra
The Prime Minister expressed his gratitude to the 140 crore countrymen, saying, "The way they stood firmly with the country in this difficult time, the way the countrymen faced those who spread rumors, fear, and confusion, the country has been able to move forward on the basis of that trust."
Environmental Protection and New Sources of Energy
He mentioned that he had the privilege of planting a Khejri sapling under the 'Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam' (A tree in the name of mother) initiative. He said, "We have to touch new heights of progress, and we also have to protect the environment."
With this thinking, the government is also working on solar energy. He mentioned the work done in Rajasthan under the PM Surya Ghar Free Electricity Scheme and the PM Kusum Scheme.
Solution to Water Problem: BJP vs Congress
On the issue of water, he accused the Congress governments of not doing any concrete work. He recalled how, as the Chief Minister of Gujarat, he had delivered Narmada water to Rajasthan without any dispute in collaboration with the Vasundhara Raje government.
He announced, "Now that there is a BJP government in both Rajasthan and Haryana, solutions have been found with mutual consent for the first time. Now the governments of Rajasthan and Haryana will together bring water to Shekhawati."
Approximately ₹34,000 crore will be spent on this project.
Building a New Future with the Double Engine Government
In the end, the Prime Minister said that today, modern infrastructure is being built at a fast pace in Rajasthan. The Jaipur Metro Phase II and the new terminal of Jodhpur Airport will further accelerate development.
He expressed confidence, "I am fully confident that you all will continue to bless the double-engine government in this way. Together we will build a new future for Rajasthan."
