Prajna Foundation Sets Up Kishori Club at JKLU, 9 Students Join
Jaipur | Prajna Foundation established the Kishori Club at JK Lakshmipat University (JKLU) with the aim of increasing awareness about adolescent and women's health and menstrual hygiene. Under this initiative, 9 students of the university were made members of the Kishori Club. ID cards and gifts were also provided to the member students.

Establishment of Kishori Club and Dignified Presence

Vice-Chancellor of JK Lakshmipat University Dr. Vijayshekar Chellaboina and Dean of Institute of Engineering & Technology Dr. Tapas Kumar were present in the program.

Along with them, Acting Head of Institute of Management Dr. Sheetal Mundra, Dean of Institute of Design Rattan Gangadhar, and Head of Student Affairs Dr. Richa Sharma also graced the program.

Awareness on Menstrual Hygiene

The program started with awareness on social myths and misconceptions related to menstruation. Ms. Preeti Sharma, Founder of Prajna Foundation, spoke in detail on this subject.

She emphasized the need to remove various myths and misconceptions related to menstruation. She said that menstruation is a natural physical process.
