Questioning the role of the media, she asked if the opposition should also remain silent like the media.

Priyanka Gandhi angrily told the media, "Should we also remain silent just like you do?" She made this comment when she was asked about the ongoing stalemate in Parliament.
The Congress MP also reacted sharply to the lathicharge on students in Delhi. She said, "Who do you think is responsible for this? When the Modi government orders lathicharges on students, uses pellet guns on them, and even uses AK-47s against them, are you not accountable to the public?"
Priyanka Gandhi further added, "Should we also sit silently like the media?"
Joint opposition protest
This protest was being carried out by opposition MPs outside the Parliament regarding the alleged theft in the Ram Mandir donation. Congress President Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra, Awadhesh Prasad, and many other MPs were present in this demonstration.
The Trinamool Congress (TMC) also reacted to the lathicharge on students during the protest in Delhi. TMC MP Saugata Roy condemned the incident.
Saugata Roy said, "Students were lathicharged in Delhi. Pellet guns and tear gas were used. It is wrong to use force against students anywhere, and we do not support it." He demanded a discussion on the use of batons and pellet guns and also demanded an apology from Home Minister Amit Shah.
Meanwhile, TMC MP Mahua Moitra alleged that Home Minister Amit Shah is running away from Parliament. She said, "We are demanding a statement from him on who gave the order to use pellet guns on protesters at Jantar Mantar."
In another development on Wednesday, BJP MPs from Jharkhand also held a protest on the Parliament premises. This protest was against the lathicharge on protesting students during the assembly siege in Jharkhand. During this, BJP MPs also raised slogans against Rahul Gandhi.
