In Rajasthan politics, reports of internal discontent between the ruling establishment and the organization within the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government are gaining momentum. The party's grassroots workers and loyal leaders are now openly expressing their displeasure on social media against the working style of their own government's ministers.
Recent large-scale transfer-posting decisions have further fueled this discontent, which has become a major political headache for Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma.
Viral posts on social media and leaked WhatsApp chats are evidence that the party's old and dedicated workers are not being heard at the governance level. This is breeding serious resentment within them against their own government.
At the center of this controversy is an emotional post by a senior worker with a Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) background. He has expressed his anguish over the stubbornness of a powerful minister.
The leader wrote: "My father has been an honest worker of the Bharatiya Janata Party, a fact that the honorable Vasundhara Raje ji knows well. I myself am a second-year educated worker of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. I have played an important role in making the BJP's district chief and pradhan many times in my life. But today, for the first time, I needed administrative help because I mistakenly accepted my promotion. In return, at the age of 59, I was transferred 500 kilometers away from my home to Jhalawar. Unfortunately, my transfer was not even to a vacant post. Anyway, I will now take VRS from this job. But Honorable Education Minister, your stubbornness will sink the BJP."
This fire of discontent is not limited to just one worker. In the Jalore district of western Rajasthan, chats from an internal WhatsApp group of the BJP Nagar Mandal have also been leaked.
In these chats, local party officials and workers are raising sharp questions about the attitude of their own government's ministers and local MLAs. They allege that despite having their own government in the state, their legitimate demands and minor administrative tasks are being ignored.
