Jaipur | Inflation news has emerged for gas consumers in Rajasthan. Torrent Gas has increased the prices of CNG and PNG in the state.

This decision has directly impacted the pockets of the general public. These new rates increased by the company have become effective from midnight on October 6, 2026.

Notably, the company has made this change in its prices after an interval of about 4 months. This will force thousands of consumers in Jaipur to spend more.

New Rates of CNG and PNG in Jaipur

According to the official rate list released by Torrent Gas, prices for both domestic Piped Natural Gas (PNG) and vehicle fuel CNG have been increased.

Approximately 50,000 domestic consumers in Jaipur will be directly affected by this price hike. Additionally, the budget of thousands of CNG vehicle drivers has also been disturbed.

Domestic PNG Prices

The old rate of PNG was 51.50 rupees per SCM. It has now been increased to 53.50 rupees per SCM including tax.

The base price of PNG has been increased from 47.91 rupees to 49.77 rupees. After adding local VAT, consumers will have to pay 53.50 rupees.

Vehicle Fuel CNG Prices

The price of CNG for vehicle drivers has also seen an increase of 2 rupees. Previously it was 97.50 rupees per kg, which has now become 99.50 rupees per kg.

This sudden increase has affected the monthly budget of cab, auto, and private vehicle drivers who commute to the office daily.

Status of Prices in Other Districts of Rajasthan

CNG and PNG prices vary across different districts of Rajasthan due to geographical location and transportation costs.

Due to logistics and networks of different supplier companies, the price scenario in major cities of the state appears different.

Districts with Highest Rates

In areas like Bikaner and Churu, CNG prices are at the highest level in Rajasthan due to longer transportation distances.

CNG remains at 107.75 rupees per kg in these districts. Apart from this, the same high rate is applicable in Shahpura, Dudu, and Gangapur City.

Medium and Minimum Rate Districts

After the new prices, rates in Jaipur and Alwar are around 99.50 rupees. Meanwhile, in Ajmer, it is approximately 96.33 rupees per kg.

CNG rates in Dausa, Tonk, and Karauli are relatively lower, stable at 92.50 rupees per kg.

In remote southern parts like Banswara and Dungarpur, it is available at a minimum of 88.94 rupees per kg.
