Which cases will be heard?
The constituted committees will hear transfer cases of personnel from certain special categories.
These include single women, widows, and deserted women. Additionally, cases of personnel suffering from incurable diseases certified by a medical board or a competent authority will also be considered.
These diseases include cancer, and serious diseases of the brain, heart, lungs, kidneys, or other life-threatening illnesses. Also, husband-wife transfer cases will be heard.
Who will be on the committee?
The department has decided on the structure of separate committees at the directorate and divisional levels.
Directorate Level Committee
This committee has been formed for grievances related to transfer orders issued by the directorate.
- Chairman: Additional Director (Academic), Elementary Education
- Member: Joint Director (Personnel), Secondary Education
- Member: Joint Director (Training), Secondary Education
- Member: Deputy Director (Administration), Secondary Education
- Member: Deputy Legal Advisor, Secondary Education
- Member Secretary: Assistant Director, Establishment C-5 Section
Divisional Level Committee
This committee has been formed for grievances regarding transfer orders issued by the Joint Director and District Education Officer offices.
- Chairman: Joint Director (School Education) of the respective division
- Member: Chief District Education Officer of the divisional headquarters
- Member: District Education Officer nominated by the Joint Director
- Member Secretary: Additional District Education Officer or equivalent working in the Joint Director's office
The orders have instructed to receive and resolve the grievances from the transferred teachers falling under all these categories.
