Bikaner |On the auspicious occasion of Independence Day, the entire state of Rajasthan was immersed in patriotic colors. This year, the main state-level Independence Day ceremony was organized with great grandeur and enthusiasm at the historic Dr. Karni Singh Stadium in Bikaner.
The chief guest of the ceremony, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma, hoisted the national flag and took the salute of the grand parade.
During this dignified event at Dr. Karni Singh Stadium, the entire complex echoed with patriotic songs, tricolor flags, and the enthusiasm of the general public.
In his address, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma began by paying homage to the immortal martyrs, freedom fighters, and brave soldiers guarding the borders who sacrificed their lives for the country's freedom.
He stated that the history of Rajasthan, the land of heroes, has been a symbol of sacrifice, valor, and patriotism, and today is an opportunity to express gratitude to those great souls.

Prominent figures from the central and state governments were present at this historic state-level ceremony in Bikaner.
Union Minister of State for Law and Justice (Independent Charge) Arjun Ram Meghwal was specially present at the event.
Chief Secretary V. Srinivas and Director General of Police (DGP) Rajiv Sharma also attended the ceremony.
Government's Achievements and the 'Viksit Bharat' Resolve
In his speech, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma extended Independence Day greetings to the people of the state.
Paying tribute to the country's martyrs, he said, 'We are witnessing an India that is moving forward step by step with the world. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, India's economy is growing rapidly.'
The CM said, 'The Prime Minister has resolved for a developed India by 2047. He has a special affection for Rajasthan. The gifts he has given to Rajasthan are changing both its destiny and its face.'
He added, 'We are moving from resolve to accomplishment. Rajasthan has prioritized water security; a scheme worth 91 thousand crores will provide drinking water to 40 percent of the state's population, and the path for water to reach Shekhawati has also been cleared.'
Roadmap for 'Viksit Rajasthan' Presented
In his Independence Day address, the Chief Minister presented an outline of the historic decisions and public welfare schemes taken by the state government for the public good.
Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma also shared his government's future vision and roadmap to achieve the goal of a 'Viksit Rajasthan' with the people of the state.
He mentioned that unprecedented work is being done in the fields of infrastructure, health, education, and solar energy in the border and remote areas of the state, including Bikaner.
