Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS) has clarified that there are no changes in the distribution rules for insulin drugs and has instructed pharmacies to continue the supply.
Bikaner |The Rajasthan Government Health Scheme (RGHS) has completely clarified the state of confusion regarding the availability and distribution of insulin drugs. A circular has been issued in this regard so that beneficiaries do not face any kind of trouble.
A circular has been issued by RGHS to all empanelled hospitals in the state, including PBM Hospital in Bikaner.
This circular clearly states that no changes have been made to the existing guidelines regarding the availability or distribution of insulin drugs.
RGHS has also instructed all affiliated pharmacies to continue providing insulin drugs to eligible RGHS beneficiaries as per the prevailing guidelines.
The circular also clarifies that if any pharmacy refuses to provide insulin citing alleged changes in RGHS guidelines, it will be taken seriously.
Furthermore, appropriate action will be taken against the concerned pharmacy for any unnecessary delay in distribution.
Copies of this circular, issued by Dr. Nidhi Patel, Additional Chief Executive Officer of RGHS, have been sent to various RGHS officials, medical and policy branches, all affiliated hospitals and pharmacies, as well as the TPA company Vidal Health India.
