Due to Panchayati Raj elections in October 2026, the Staff Selection Board has changed the schedule for 5 major recruitment exams including CET.
The Board has changed the dates of five major recruitment exams including the Common Eligibility Test (CET). According to the revised exam calendar released on Monday, these exams will now be held between November 2026 and February 2027.
RSMSSB Chairman Alok Raj has advised candidates to prepare according to the new dates. He said that candidates should ensure their arrangements based on the revised schedule.
The direct recruitment exam-2026 for Teaching Associate (contractual) posts will now be held between November 17 and December 21. Exams for a total of 32 subjects are included in this recruitment process.

The Common Eligibility Test (Senior Secondary Level)-2026 will now be held on December 1 and 3. This exam will be completed in two shifts on both days.
Meanwhile, the dates for the Common Eligibility Test (Graduate Level)-2026 have been fixed for January 16, 17, and 18, 2027. There will be two shifts on January 16 and 17, while the exam will be held only in the morning shift on January 18.
The Lab Attendant (PHED) direct recruitment exam-2025 will now be held on January 25, 2027. This exam will be completed in a single shift.
The Junior Engineer (JE) combined direct recruitment exam-2026 is proposed to be held from February 3 to 5, 2027. According to the board, this exam will be conducted in one shift daily.
Municipal body and Panchayati Raj elections are proposed in October 2026 by the Rajasthan State Election Commission. Due to these elections, there was a possibility of conflict in examination centers and administrative arrangements.
In view of this situation, the board has decided to postpone the examinations. The board has also informed the concerned departments to schedule their other activities according to these new dates.
