The Rajasthan Directorate of Secondary Education has postponed the timing change for single-shift schools to October 16, 2026. All schools will operate at their current timings until October 15.
According to the official order issued by Director of Secondary Education Lalit Kumar, this change was previously scheduled to be implemented from October 1 under the government order dated March 31, 2026.
Now, by amending this date, the timing change has been postponed until October 16. The department clarified that the old system will remain in place in all schools until October 15, 2026.
Concerned officers and institutional heads have been directed to ensure strict compliance with this revised order. Schools will open at their pre-determined times until October 15.
The department also clarified that all other school activities will continue to be operated as per the provisions of the Shivira Panchang session 2026-27.
