Rajasthan's Director of Secondary Education has imposed strict rules on outsiders' entry, photography, and videography in schools to ensure student safety, dignity, and privacy.
Entry of outsiders into school premises is restricted without prior permission from the principal.
Written permission is mandatory for photography and videography of students or activities.
Action will be taken under the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, POCSO, and IT Act for violation of rules.
Every visitor must make an entry in the visitor register and be accompanied by an authorized person.

New Standards for Safety in Schools
According to the issued instructions, no outsider will now be allowed to enter the school premises without prior permission from the principal or head of the institution. This step has been taken to ensure a safe and protected environment for the students.
Entry Process for Visitors
Every visitor to the school will now be required to compulsorily enter their information in the visitor register. Following this, they will only be able to visit different parts of the school accompanied by an authorized teacher or official.
These areas include classrooms, laboratories, libraries, hostels, and other activity areas where students are present.
Strict Ban on Photography and Recording
Under the new rules, it has been made mandatory to obtain prior written permission for any kind of photography, videography, audio recording, interviews, or live streaming on the school premises.
Furthermore, the unauthorized collection and dissemination of students' personal information, photos, or videos are also completely prohibited to protect their privacy.
Strict Action for Violation of Rules
If any person violates these rules, such as entering without permission, refusing to leave the premises, unauthorized recording, or obstructing school work, the principal will have the authority to take immediate action.
In such a situation, the principal can inform the local police and the District Education Officer. In cases of violation, action will be taken under stringent laws such as the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, POCSO, Juvenile Justice Act, and the Information Technology Act.
Instructions for Strict Compliance to Officials
The department has also directed all supervisory officers to ensure strict compliance with these instructions so that the rules can be implemented effectively.
