Bikaner |Under the annual action plan 2026-27 of Samagra Shiksha, ECCE Bal Melas will be organized for the children of Balwatikas operating in Mahatma Gandhi schools. This step is being taken in line with the recommendations of the National Education Policy-2020.
The Rajasthan Council of School Education has issued instructions to the Director of Secondary Education in this regard. These children's fairs will be organized twice in a session.
The main objective of these fairs is to provide children with an opportunity to showcase their talents through joyful, creative, and experiential activities. Additionally, it aims to involve parents in the children's learning process.
What will be the arrangement?
At least four activity stalls will be set up in each school, ensuring the active participation of children, parents, teachers, and the community.
These activities will be in the fair
Various activities related to cognitive development, creative activities, language development, and outdoor games will be organized at the fair.
These will include making clay toys, stamp painting, collage making, storytelling/poetry recitation, puppet shows, riddles, object identification, and various local games. Priority will also be given to local art and community talents in the events.
