This campaign is being conducted to connect children with education who are out of school for various reasons even after the admission festival period has ended.
Additional Chief Secretary of the Education Department, Rajesh Yadav, has issued serious guidelines regarding this campaign.
The main objective of this campaign is to get children who are out of school due to economic, social, or other reasons admitted to schools under the provisions of the Right to Education (RTE) and connect them with regular studies.
According to the instructions, the theme of this important campaign has been kept as "One teacher-one child, a good future in school," which reflects the commitment to bring education to every child.
This statewide campaign will be conducted in two phases to ensure its reach to the maximum number of children.
The first phase will run from July 26 to August 15, 2026, while the second phase will be conducted from August 16 to September 30, 2026.
During the campaign, special attention will be focused on connecting children from certain special groups to school.
These include girls, children with special needs (Divyang), child laborers, and children from migrant, tribal, and nomadic communities.
An effective monitoring system has been established to ensure the success of the campaign.
The instructions state that the Chief Block Education Officer will review the progress of the campaign every fortnight.
Meanwhile, the District Education Officer (Elementary and Secondary) will continuously monitor the progress of the district.
The campaign will also be reviewed by the District Collector from time to time. This will ensure regular enrollment tracking, weekly school-level reviews, fortnightly block-level reviews, and monthly district-level reviews.
The state government expects District Collectors to play a significant role in making this campaign successful.
They have been asked to ensure 100% enrollment and retention of out-of-school children in the district by giving necessary instructions to Sub-Divisional Officers, block-level officers, and Panchayati Raj representatives.
