Admitted to the ICU of Sawai Man Singh (SMS) Hospital in Jaipur, Shubham, distressed by the government's apathy, has now completely given up both water and medical treatment after renouncing food.
According to doctors, his body is rapidly deteriorating due to the lack of food, water, and medical assistance for several days, and his condition could become life-threatening at any moment.
Student leader Shubham Rewar began his indefinite sit-in and hunger strike at the main gate of Rajasthan University on July 23 with two primary demands.
On the 9th day of the fast (July 31), after experiencing breathing difficulties and a dangerous drop in blood pressure, the police and administration forcibly admitted him to SMS Hospital.
