NHAI has changed the toll rates on several major national highways and expressways connecting to Jaipur.
After the implementation of this new rate list, a direct increase of 8 percent to 12 percent has been recorded in the toll charges for cars, jeeps, taxis, mini-buses, and large commercial vehicles.
For a one-way trip from Jaipur to Delhi, car drivers will now have to pay ₹395 instead of the previous ₹375.
This means a direct additional financial burden of ₹20 on a one-way journey.
This hike will affect not only daily commuters and traders but also the budgets of ordinary families who go for weekend trips to Delhi or for darshan at Khatushyamji.
Traveling on the Jaipur-Delhi National Highway (NH-48) has now become more expensive.
The toll for cars and light vehicles going from Jaipur to Delhi has increased by a straight ₹20, bringing the one-way toll to ₹395.
Toll rates have also been increased for heavy goods vehicles, trucks, and interstate buses. This may lead to an increase in freight charges and bus fares on the Jaipur-Delhi route in the coming days.
The journey on the route to one of Rajasthan's most famous religious sites, the Khatushyamji temple, has also become costlier.
Revised rates have been implemented at the Tantiyawas toll plaza located on the Ringas route for those going to Khatushyamji via Chomu from Jaipur.
Every month on Ekadashi and weekends, lakhs of devotees from Jaipur, Delhi, and neighboring states travel in their cars and taxis for darshan at Khatushyamji. With the increase in toll rates, the budget for the entire religious trip to Khatushyamji will now increase.

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has also revised the toll charges in Rajasthan's Kota division, on the Kota-Bundi route, and on some major sections of the Vadodara-Mumbai Expressway.
The revised toll rates have become effective across the region from 12 midnight on July 20, 2026. This annual toll revision will have the biggest impact on ordinary people driving private cars, jeeps, and light motor vehicles (LMVs).
On the main section of the expressway, the toll for the car category has been increased by up to 7.40 percent, while on some interchange routes, this increase has been recorded up to 10 percent.
Additionally, a new rate list has been issued for all small and large vehicles passing through the Kishorpura toll plaza on the Kota-Bundi route.
Meanwhile, travel will now be more expensive for commuters, coaching students, businessmen, and transporters who travel daily on the Devli-Kota section (NH-52).
NHAI and local toll management have clarified that despite the increase in single-trip rates, the provision of discounts for some travelers will continue.
The concessional rate for vehicles returning on the same route within 24 hours will remain applicable as before.
The facility of a monthly Fastag pass for local residents living within a 20-kilometer radius of the toll plaza will continue as per the previous rules.
For commuters who travel daily from Jaipur to nearby districts and Delhi for work, study, or business, this is a direct increase in daily expenses.
Tour and travel operators say that due to the 8% to 12% increase in toll rates, they will now have to increase the fares for their intercity taxi and bus bookings.
Meanwhile, transporters believe that the increase in the transportation cost of vegetables, milk, and other essential food items in Rajasthan may also have an indirect impact on the general consumer in the time to come.
