Ratangarh-Sardarsahar Rail Underbridge Closed for 28 Days

Bikaner | The North Western Railway has announced the closure of an important underbridge on the Ratangarh-Sardarsahar rail section. This underbridge, number 8D, located on Dularsar Marg, will be completely closed for vehicular movement for the next 28 days starting from June 25.

Why is the underbridge being closed?

According to railway officials, drainage improvement and other repair work are to be carried out at this underbridge to resolve the issue of waterlogging.

The Senior Divisional Commercial Manager of Bikaner Division stated, "It is necessary to complete this work before the monsoon to avoid inconvenience to passengers."

What are the alternative routes?

The railway has appealed to commuters to use alternative routes during this period. These include underbridge number 8C (Anandwasi-Mangasar) and the underbridge at Mehrasar Kalyanpura.
