Political activities have intensified in Rajasthan just before the upcoming Panchayati Raj and urban body elections. In this sequence, Rashtriya Loktantrik Party (RLP) convener and MP Hanuman Beniwal has suffered a major political setback.
A significant breach has occurred in the RLP organization in the Sujangarh assembly constituency, where several senior party office-bearers and workers have joined the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP).
The event was held at the BJP state headquarters in Jaipur. During this, BJP State President and Rajya Sabha MP Madan Rathore officially welcomed all the new leaders into the BJP family by presenting them with the party's scarf.
This move has caused significant political damage to RLP in the Sujangarh and Bidasar regions. Several grassroots-level office-bearers of the party have expressed their faith in the policies of the BJP and the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
All these leaders have expressed their commitment to the BJP's nationalist ideology and its resolve for national service.
During the membership ceremony, BJP State President Madan Rathore said,
"A warm welcome to all the new colleagues in the BJP family. Under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the center and Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma in the state, the government is setting new dimensions of public welfare and good governance."
He further added that due to the government's development-oriented policies, workers from various parties are leaving their parties and joining the BJP's victory campaign.
During this important joining ceremony, several prominent faces and ministers of the state BJP were also present. These included state government minister Jhabar Singh Kharra, BJP state vice-president Mukesh Dadhich, state general secretary Shravan Bagri, Mithilesh Gautam, Bhupendra Saini, and treasurer Pankaj Gupta, among other key officials.
