Bikaner |The state-level program on the theme 'Saksham Nari, Swasth Bachpan, Samriddh Rajasthan', organized by the Women and Child Development Department, Jaipur, on August 15, was also broadcast live in Bikaner. This program, held in Jaipur in the presence of Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma, was broadcast live at the district headquarters as well as at various block and gram panchayat levels of the district.
Event held at Ravindra Rangmanch
Deputy Director of the Women and Child Development Department, Dr. Narendra Singh Shekhawat, stated that about 380 Anganwadi workers, helpers, and companions from the district enthusiastically participated in the live broadcast program held at Ravindra Rangmanch at the district headquarters.
Objective of the Program
The objective of this program was to provide information to Anganwadi workers, helpers, and companions about the benefit transfer being done through DBT and various public welfare schemes. Additionally, establishing direct communication with them was also a goal.
Addressing the program, Chief Minister Shri Bhajanlal Sharma provided information about various public welfare schemes of the department.
On the occasion of Hariyali Teej and Raksha Bandhan, he transferred an amount of ₹1,100 to the accounts of women Anganwadi workers, helpers, and companions through DBT.
Broadcast at Block and Gram Panchayat Levels
Local public representatives, dignitaries, and officials from various departments were also invited by the department to the district-level program. The state-level program was also broadcast live at all block and gram panchayat levels of the district.
Approximately 566 participants took part in the programs organized at the block level, and about 2,978 participants participated in the programs held at the gram panchayat level.
