On the occasion of World Tribal Day, former Chief Minister's advisor and former MLA Sanyam Lodha launched a sharp attack on the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) at a program organized in Alpa. He described the BJP as the biggest enemy of the tribals and advised the community to be cautious of it.

BJP is the number one enemy of tribals: Lodha

Addressing the program organized by the Bhil community in Alpa, Sanyam Lodha said that the BJP is the number one enemy of the tribals. He urged the tribal community that they need to be most cautious of the BJP.

Recalling the achievements of his tenure, Lodha said that he had got land allotted for a Bhil community hostel at the Sirohi district headquarters and a Meena community hostel in Shivganj.

Allegation of canceling hostel land allotment

He alleged that as soon as the BJP government was formed in Rajasthan, both these important land allotments were canceled. This step is against the interests of the tribal community.

Lodha stated that the people of the Meena community were aware of their rights and they knocked on the door of the High Court in this matter and obtained a stay.

However, he expressed sorrow, saying that the way action was taken in the case of the Bhil community's hostel land will be remembered as the cruelty of the BJP government.

He emphasized that politics is also being played on the issue related to the education and future of the children of the Bhil community, which is very unfortunate.

Government also cornered on Rowada land issue

During his address, Sanyam Lodha also prominently raised the issue of land related to the families of the Bhil community in Rowada village.

He said that the land on which the people of the Bhil community have been occupying for about 50 years was allegedly mutated in the name of a private individual through collusion.

Lodha mentioned that when the people of the Bhil community came to him with this matter, he spoke to the concerned Tehsildar about it.

According to him, the Tehsildar had also admitted that something wrong had happened in the matter, which exposes the flaws in the system.

Appeal to stay organized for rights

Lodha said that there is a need to seriously understand this kind of oppression and injustice happening to the people of the Bhil community.

He called upon the community to become aware of their rights and stay organized, so that no one can violate their rights in the future.

Expressed concern over lack of education

Sanyam Lodha also expressed deep concern over the current state of education in the Bhil community. He said that the government provides hostel and study facilities for the girls of the tribal community at various places in the district.

In these hostels, girls can get quality education at government expense, but lack of awareness is a major obstacle.

He informed that the facilities available for the girls of the Bhil community in Sirohi, Shivganj, and Kolar are not being fully utilized.

Lodha expressed concern that due to a lack of awareness in the community, not a single girl from the Bhil community is studying in these three important places.

Call to prioritize daughters' education

He called upon the people of the community to give top priority to the education of their children, especially daughters.

Lodha said that education is the only medium through which the community can become aware of its rights and also become socially and economically strong.

Remembered the glorious history of the tribal community

The former Chief Minister's advisor also mentioned the glorious history of the tribal community and their contribution to Indian culture in his address.

Citing the examples of Sabari Mata and Veer Rana Punja, he said that the contribution of the tribal community in Indian history has been extremely important and unforgettable.

Advice to youth to connect with modern education

He said that the tribal community has always played an important role for the country and society.

Lodha advised the youth of the community to learn about their history, great men, and glorious traditions, as well as to connect with modern education.

He concluded by saying that the community will have to be aware, organized, and struggle for its rights. He called upon the tribal community to provide good education to their children and move forward by eradicating social evils.
