He explained that it is a system based on dharma, righteousness, duty, and public welfare.
Maharaj Shri said that in a nation whose citizens have a sense of religion and duty, the spirit of culture, self-control, and responsibility towards the nation becomes strong.
Knowledge of Indian Culture is Essential
The Shankaracharya placed special emphasis on imparting knowledge of Indian culture to children and youth.
He said that scriptures like the Gita, Ramayana, Mahabharata, and Upanishads show an individual the path of truth, service, sacrifice, self-control, and patriotism.
Temples and Schools to Become Centers of Culture
The Shankaracharya described temples as major centers of Indian culture and values. He stressed the need to protect their religious character.
He called upon the Sanatan society to establish educational institutions where, along with modern education, the Indian knowledge tradition and values are also taught.
According to him, schools should not just be for employment, but should become centers of character and nation-building.
Drug-Free Youth, Strong India
Maharaj Shri expressed deep concern over the growing trend of drug addiction in the country.
He said that if India is to become a world leader, the youth power must be made drug-free.
Regarding politics, he said that a coordination of religious policy, truth, justice, and national interest is also necessary in it. The purpose of politics should not be to gain power, but public welfare.
He described cow service and cow protection as a unique identity of Indian culture and called it the collective responsibility of society.
Review Meeting of Chaturmas Seva Samiti
In this sequence, a review meeting of the Chaturmas Seva Samiti was also held in the holy presence of the most revered Go Rishi Swami Shri Dattsharananand Ji Maharaj.
This meeting was held in the coordination meeting hall of Abhinav Vrat Mandal, Nandgaon. In the meeting, the arrangements for the ongoing Chaturmas under the guidance of Jagadguru Shankaracharyaji were reviewed.
Preparations for the upcoming programs were also discussed in detail.
Hundreds of workers, including Mahant Dineshgiri Maharaj, Yogi Chetanath Maharaj, and Sant Govindavallabhdas Maharaj, were present at the meeting and were given necessary instructions.
