Shiv Sena Protests in Jalore on 3 Key Issues, Gets Assurance

Jalore | The Jalore unit of Shiv Sena (Uddhav Balasaheb Thackeray) staged a massive protest at the District Collectorate regarding three serious public interest issues. The organization submitted a memorandum to the district administration, demanding immediate and effective action in these matters.

A large number of Shiv Sainiks, farmers, and local villagers participated in the protest, raising their voices against the administration.

Shiv Sena's Uproar, Besieges Administration on Three Demands

Through three separate memorandums, Shiv Sena drew the administration's attention to three critical cases. These include a slow investigation into a murder case, a land-grabbing case, and illegal mining causing environmental damage. The party has warned that the agitation will be intensified if timely action is not taken.

First Issue: Plea for Justice in Amrit Dewasi Murder Case

The first and most prominent case is related to the murder of the late Amrit Dewasi, a resident of Bhainswada. Shiv Sena alleged that although nearly three years have passed since the murder, the police have failed to arrest the killers to date.

The organization expressed deep anger that even the forensic report of the deceased's mobile phone has not been obtained. Calling this a major lapse in the investigation, Shiv Sena demanded that the accountability of the guilty officials be fixed and justice be delivered to the victim's family as soon as possible.

Second Issue: Allegation of Land Grabbing with Fake Power of Attorney

In the second memorandum, a serious case related to FIR number 157/2025 was raised. It is alleged that an attempt was made to grab land using a fake power of attorney and a fake notary.

The memorandum stated that these documents were prepared in the name of a deceased advocate, and the signatures and thumb impressions on them are also suspicious. Shiv Sena said that even after nine months, no concrete action has been taken in this matter. The organization has demanded strict legal action against those who created the forged documents.

Third Issue: Outrage over Illegal Mining in Jawai River

Through the third memorandum, the issue of illegal and irregular sand mining in the Jawai river was raised. Shiv Sena alleged that the mining contractor is digging pits much deeper than the prescribed limit.

This illegal mining has posed a serious threat to the environment, groundwater level, and the livelihood of farmers. The organization demanded an immediate ban on it, the formation of a high-level investigation committee, and strict action against the culprits.

Protest Ends After Administration's Assurance

During the protest, the administration took the Jawai river issue seriously. An assurance was given by the administration for an on-site inspection and investigation by an Additional District Collector (ADM) level officer.

The Jawai river is not just a river but the lifeline of the entire region. This fight for public interest will continue for its conservation, environmental balance, and to protect the future of farmers.

The administration also assured that if the contractor is found guilty in the investigation, an FIR will be registered against him. Following this positive assurance, Shiv Sena called off its protest.

However, Shiv Sena District Chief Rupraj Purohit clarified that if prompt action is not taken in all three cases, the organization will be forced to launch a larger and more widespread public movement. Several key party officials and members were present on this occasion.
