Sirohi | On the occasion of the birth anniversary of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi, a special tribute program was organized by the City Congress Committee at Gandhi Park in Sirohi. During this program, the City Congress President, office bearers, newly elected councilors, and prominent citizens offered flowers at the statue of Mahatma Gandhi and paid their respects.
Discussion on Gandhi's Principles
City Congress President Punit Kumar Jain, in his address, remembered the life and principles of Mahatma Gandhi. He stated that Gandhiji gave the message of humanity to the entire world through truth, non-violence, sacrifice, and service.
Punit Kumar Jain said that Gandhiji's life teaches us that even the biggest changes are possible by following the path of truth. His thoughts remain extremely relevant for society and future generations today.
The City Congress President emphasized that merely remembering Gandhiji's ideals is not enough. Incorporating his thoughts into our lives and social behavior would be the true tribute to him.
At the end of the program, all those present took a pledge to follow the path of truth, non-violence, love, and humanity shown by Gandhiji.
