Singer Myaan Kashyap from Veerwada, Sirohi, has proven his talent in Mumbai. After hearing his Rajasthani folk song 'Jhini Jhini', Mohit Suri and Shashank Khetan offered him a chance to work in films.
At the recently held 'All About Music Summit 2026', Myaan Kashyap's Rajasthani folk song 'Jhini Jhini' impressed several veteran Bollywood film directors.
'Saiyaara' director Mohit Suri particularly praised Myaan Kashyap's voice and his song 'Jhini Jhini'. He showed keen interest in working with Myaan.
Similarly, director Shashank Khetan was also very impressed with Myaan's song. He mentioned giving Myaan an opportunity to work on his film.
On this occasion, several other filmmakers including Ashwini Iyer Tiwari and Anand Tiwari also appreciated Myaan's singing and music.
Myaan Kashyap's musical journey has already been filled with several significant achievements. His talent has been recognized nationally and internationally.
In the year 2021, he was part of a Guinness World Record achievement as a core singer with music director Pritam.
Additionally, he has also established his unique identity as a playback singer by lending his voice to the title track of the film 'Prithviraj Chauhan'.
Myaan Kashyap is currently taking folk and Sufi music to stages across the country and abroad with his band 'Mehfilemyaan'.
His band has performed sold-out concerts in Mumbai, Vadodara, and Bengaluru, reflecting his growing popularity.
Furthermore, he has also given live international performances in Abu Dhabi, Doha, and Bahrain.
Myaan Kashyap was raised in Veerwada, Sirohi, and remains strongly connected to his roots. He received his early education from Ajit Vidya Mandir School and St. Paul School, Sirohi.
His father, Dinesh Rawal, works as an LIC advisor in Sirohi.
Having established his identity as a singer and music composer in Mumbai today, Myaan is moving forward with the dream of taking Rajasthan's folk music to bigger platforms. This journey, which started from Veerwada, has now reached Bollywood and international stages, which is a matter of pride for all of Sirohi.
