The 52nd State Level Junior Kabaddi Competition begins in Bikaner.

Bikaner |The 52nd State Level Junior Boys and Girls KabaddiCompetition, organized under the aegis of the District Kabaddi Association, began with a grand ceremony on Wednesday at the Dr. Karni Singh Stadium. The event, running from August 19 to 22, has created a sporty atmosphere in the city with significant enthusiasm for kabaddi.
Grand Opening Ceremony
The chief guest of the ceremony was Bikaner Superintendent of Police, Mr. Mridul Kachhawa, who is also the flag-bearer of 'Operation Neelkanth'. Rajasthan Kabaddi Association Secretary Jagdish Fauji was present as a special guest.
SP's Message to the Youth
On this occasion, Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa addressed the players and the youth. He stated that sports are the best medium to stay away from the tendency of drug addiction.
He further added that engaging in sports keeps the body healthy and the mind strong. The SP called upon the players to participate in the competition with full sportsmanship and to remain dedicated to their goals.
Detailed Information about the Competition
Rajendra Singh Rathore, Chairman of the Bikaner Kabaddi Association, presented the report of the competition, providing detailed information. He mentioned that boys' and girls' teams from various districts of the state have arrived in Bikaner.
Rathore also informed that a large number of players are participating in the competition. All necessary arrangements, including accommodation, food, playing fields, and technical facilities for the players, have been completed.
Showcasing Talent in the Under-20 Category
Mahendra Vyas, President of the District Kabaddi Association, stated that under-20 boys and girls are showcasing their talent in the competition.
Mahendra Vyas said that it is a matter of pride for Bikaner and the entire state of Rajasthan that five players who have brought glory to the country and the state by winning gold medals at the Asian Games are also participating in the competition.
During the opening ceremony, Bikaner Superintendent of Police Mr. Mridul Kachhawa also honored these five Asian Games gold medalist players.

Superintendent of Police Mridul Kachhawa said that watching these international-level players will surely inspire the new and emerging players of Bikaner, and they will be more encouraged to advance in sports.
Exciting Matches on the First Day
The results of the matches held on Wednesday were also announced. In the boys' category, the Rajasthan Sports Council Academy delivered a stellar performance, defeating the Jhunjhunu team by a large margin of 65-21.
In another match in the boys' category, Bundi registered a victory by defeating Baran by a margin of 19 points.
Girls Also Showed Their Mettle
In the girls' category, the Churu team performed brilliantly, defeating Bharatpur by 33 points. Meanwhile, the Karauli team secured a victory by defeating Udaipur by 25 points.
This four-day competition will be held until August 22 in the multipurpose hall of Dr. Karni Singh Stadium. All matches of the competition are also being broadcast live.
