Held under the banner of Shri Pratap Yuva Shakti, the event saw participants taking a pledge for character building, inspired by the life of Veer Durgadas.

The program commenced with a traditional Ganesh Vandana, which made the entire atmosphere devotional. Many members and dignitaries associated with Shri Kshatriya Yuvak Sangh were present on this occasion, paying their tribute to the national hero.
Poignant Recitation of 'Shipra ke Teer'
A major highlight of the event was the recitation of 'Shipra ke Teer,' a heartfelt article on the life of Veer Durgadas Rathore written by Pujya Tan Singh Ji.
The article was read by Rajendra Singh Ji Bobasar, the editor of Sanghshakti and Path Prerak. Through his recitation, he presented the various episodes of Veer Durgadas's life in a very vivid and emotional manner, leaving the audience spellbound.
A Saga of Loyalty and Struggle
'Shipra ke Teer' depicts the great life-struggle of Veer Durgadas, in which he upheld his loyalty and fought against the Mughal ruler Aurangzeb throughout his life.
He also fulfilled the sacred duty of protecting Maharaja Ajit Singh, the heir of Marwar. His life is a symbol of sacrifice and dedication to duty.
Steadfast Even in Adversity
The article also mentions incidents from his life where he had to cook bread on the tip of a spear in adverse conditions.

The True Meaning of a National Hero
Sanghpramukh Shri said that Veer Durgadas is called a national hero because he never turned away from his duty. His ideal of uniting society, struggling continuously, and dedicating his entire life to the nation and society is an inspiration even today.
Greatness of Character
He specifically mentioned the incident of giving protection to Aurangzeb's rebellious son Akbar and his children. This is the greatest example of the generosity, equality, and divine nature inherent in his character. This is the true Kshatra Dharma, which teaches humane behavior even towards an enemy.

He said that in today's times, patience is diminishing in our lives. In such a time, the life of Durgadas Ji inspires us to remain steadfast in our duties with patience even in adverse circumstances. We should not just feel proud of his life, but also adopt his qualities in our own lives.
